YouTube Station at CCCC: Writing Teachers Talk

An announcement from Holly Hassel and Linda Adler-Kassner:
New activity at CCCC! This year, we’ll pilot a YouTube station, “Writing Teachers Talk,” made up of a series of short video clips of 4C conference attendees sharing effective practices from their writing classrooms, especially as they’re connected to points from key position statements from NCTE or CCCC, or drawn from the implications of their conference presentations.
· **The goal? To make smart, successful postsecondary writing instruction visible and accessible
· **How? Be ready to talk about what you consider to be one of your best, most effective teaching strategies, particularly as it is tied to a CCCC position statement or NCTE position statement important to you. You’ll be able to talk for a few minutes about your teaching practice and how that practice reflects, or is based on, the national best practices. How does it work for you and your students?
· **Where? Find NCTE staff in the Action Hub who will be ready to record your video.
· **Questions? Contact Holly Hassel @ holly.hassel@uwc.edu or Linda Adler-Kassner at adler-kassner@writing.ucsb.edu
