Anonymo, who perhaps is most known for their dispute with Ninjas in Pyjamas back in 2021, has withdrawn from all tournaments going forward.

The Polish Organization announced the end of its current lineup in a post on Twitter.

- We would like to inform you that our CS:GO team has decided to end playing together in Anonymo. Thus, each player can look for new options, and we will keep our fingers crossed for the next steps in their careers. Gentlemen, thank you for writing an emotional story.

The team has had 20 Polish players attached since the launch of Anonymo in 2021. There is no news about the future of the Organization.

Several of the players from the latest lineup of Anonymo have commented on the breakup. One of them is Grzegorz 'SZPERO' Dziamałek, who in a TweetLonger post gave some context into why the split was necessary.

- Together with the players from Anonymo, we decided to end our adventure and go separate ways. For me it was quite a short period, because it lasted less than 2 months. I joined the team at a very difficult time, but I knew what I was signing up for. The goal was to improve our game and be ready for rmr and then decide what to do next. We played this tournament better than everything else, but we were not satisfied with our performance in any way. Except that, there were other factors, such as the departure of the coaching staff.

Anonymo was ranked the fifth-best Polish roster at the latest ranking update yesterday.

Sunday was the last day of qualification for the Antwerp Major next month. Six teams fought for three tickets. In the first match of the day, Spirit was tasked with the job of eliminating Anonymo in order to qualify. Anonymo has had one of the hardest ways towards the Major with matches against G2, Players, Entropiq, and ENCE. With victories against G2 and Entropiq, Anonymo had already surpassed any expectations in the tournament.

Spirit on the other hand had seen a much easier way to the all-or-nothing game against the Poles. ENCE, ASG, SINNERS, and Endpoint had been the route for the CIS team.

Spirit picked Vertigo as the first map. Here they faced tough opposition, especially from Arek 'Vegi' Nawojski, who dropped 35 kills during the 30 rounds in the heights. It was not enough though to prevent Spirit from winning 16-14.

The potential last map of the series was Mirage. A safe haven for Anonymo, who has the map as their best, while Spirit has their lowest win rate on the map. On paper a dream scenario for the Poles. But today it was closer to a nightmare. In-game leader Oskar "oskarish" Stenborowski could not find the right solutions on the T-side, which left Anonymo trailing 11-4 at the break.

But then everything changed. Anonymo’s CT side was much much better. Very quickly the Poles had turned the match upside down and took the lead at 13-12 meanwhile the players of Spirit were shaking their heads in disbelief. They had been five rounds away from making it to the Major. Now they had to go to Nuke to get it all settled.

Team Spirit started brilliantly on their T-side winning the first half 13-2 giving themselves a huge chance to qualify. An ace from degster at the start of the second half took away all hope for a comeback from Anonymo, who could not force the comeback and had to deal with the fact, that Team Spirit will be the ones to make it to Antwerp after a superb showing on Nuke.

We are getting close to the Summer break, where all competitive Counter-Strike takes a hiatus for a month. But before then, there have already been some roster moves.

On two Polish teams, there will be changes going forward.

On Izako Boars two new players were announced yesterday to fill in the spots of Hubert "⁠Szejn⁠" Światły and Kamil "⁠siuhy⁠" Szkaradek, who joined the new mousesports academy project two weeks ago. It will be Arek "⁠Vegi⁠" Nawojski and Karol "⁠Enzo⁠" Lasota who will be the new faces of Izako Boars. Both of the players join Boars on a free transfer.

At Anonymo Kamil "⁠KEi⁠" Pietkun has asked to benched after "different perception about certain aspects", he explains in a TwitLonger post.

The team is now looking to replace KEi, and has announced that they will try out players in the near future. Anonymo is currently ranked 47th in the world.
