ALTERNATE aTTaX has announced two new players to complete their roster for the upcoming 2023 season. Timo "Spiidi" Richter and Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich will be joining the German organization on a permanent deal going forward. 

The 27-year-old rifler Timo "Spiidi" Richter has played for Sprout, cowana, Seed, MOUZ, and now ALTERNATE aTTaX. During his time in Sprout Spiidi helped the team reach new heights on the German CS:GO scene. Despite Spiidi being 27-year-old has the rifle in recent months been playing his best Counter-Strike. The German is currently averaging 1.25 Rating / 1.32 Impact / 89.8 ADR / 0.82 KPR during the past three months playing for cowana. 

Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich is a former ALTERNATE aTTaX but has most recently played for Sprout. The 24-year-old AWPer is looking to regain his form from the 2019-2020 season where he dominated the German scene playing under the ALTERNATE aTTaX banner. slaxz- were a part of the Sprout team that went all the way to the group stages of IEM Rio Major 2022, a historical event for the small organization. While playing for Sprout slaxz- was averaging 1.07 Rating / 1.03 Impact / 69.4 ADR / 0.66 KPR.

After a year with the squad Sprout has officially announced the departure of in-game leader Rasmus "raalz" Steensborg. This is the second change that Sporut announced this week, following the departure of Timo "Spiidi" Richter. Sprout is left with just three players on the active lineup. They are still yet to announce their 2 new players coming up in the starting five.

The 27-year-old in-game leader transferred to Sprout from Lyngby Vikings back in August 2021. Rasmus "raalz" Steensborg led Sporut through some notable events such as the play-ins for IEM Katowice 2022 and IEM Cologne 2022. The Danish IGL also claimed several regional trophies during his tenure.

International rosters have become the rule and not the exception as of late. The professional CS:GO scene is more competitive now than ever before, and assembling the strongest roster possible means traveling across borders to pick up players suited for that given roster. An international European team that is currently seeking to make it into the top 10 in the world is Sprout. Attempting to stand stronger in the second half of 2022, the Berlin-based organization has just announced a big change to their active CS:GO line-up. 

Parting ways with the Sprout roster is 26-year-old Timo "Spiidi" Richter. After more than four years of service under the Sprout banner, the German rifler is saying his goodbyes with the team. Whilst the change is, without any doubt, made to ensure a stronger roster for the remainder of 2022, it is still sad to see such an experienced player as "Spiidi" part ways with his 'home'. In the official farewell statement, Sprout said the following: 

Whilst the future for the 26-year-old German is still unclear, it seems as if he will continue to build on his CS:GO career somewhere else than Sprout. He stated the following in a Twitlonger post:

Timo "Spiidi" Richter and Sprout live to fight another day at IEM Cologne after a 2-1 win against paiN in an early elimination match at the Play-in stage. After the match we spoke with Spiidi, who spoke about the grueling match and what his personal aim is at the tournament.

Tomorrow will feature another all-or-nothing match for the Sprout roster, when they go up against the loser of Team Vitality vs. Movistar Riders.

20-year-old Kamil "⁠KEi⁠" Pietkun has said his goodbyes to his now-former teammates on Sprout, after expressing his desire to join a new project in his home country Poland.

The roster changes for Sprout come after a successful end to 2021, where the German Organization qualified for the upcoming ESL Pro League Conference League with a win at ESEA Premier Season 39.

The Germans from Sprout may have lost the vital elimination match against Spirit this evening, however, it wasn't without a fight. Sprout player Spiidi gave his everything to secure his team the victory, and at one time on Train, the experienced in-game leader made a truly heroic play. 

The 25-year old IGL managed to get a very unusual ACE with the German killing 4 enemies only using nades.
