The Mongolians from IHC have revealed the signing of Chinguun “hasteka” Bayarmaa to their CS:GO roster after the benching of Tengis "⁠sk0R⁠" Batjargal earlier this month.

The 24-year-old rifler joins IHC following a three-month tenure on another Mongolian lineup Clutch Gaming, where he also previously have represented D13 and Checkmate. Throughout the last 6 months, he’s averaged a 0.97 Rating in just over 30 matches.

The demotion of sk0r came as a big surprise for the community with IHC having posted a series of impressive victories and performances at IEM Katowice taking down strong teams like paiN, FURIA, and Cloud9.

It was afterwards confirmed by sk0r that it wasn’t his decision to leave the team.

The Mongolian CS:GO team IHC has lost one of their key players, Tengis “sk0R” Batjargal, ahead of the qualifiers for the Paris Major. The 20-year-old Tengis "⁠sk0R⁠" Batjargal posted an Instagram story saying: "It was full of good memories and experience but never imagined to end up like this. Leaving is not my decision btw. Goodluck fellas.”

This is a significant setback for IHC, who had risen to 19th place in the HLTV World Rankings after an impressive showing at IEM Katowice.

Batjargal’s exit comes amid controversy surrounding IHC’s main partner, the Inflation Hedging Coin cryptocurrency. The team has not commented on the future of the roster.

paiN Gaming took on IHC in the first elimination match of the day. The Asians were big underdogs at the bookmakers, but that didn’t seem to bother them.

IHC won Inferno 16-12, while also winning paiN’s map pick on Nuke afterward. It was a team effort from IHC with only Tengis 'sk0R' Batjargal sticking out from the bunch.

IHC will now face another Brazilian team in FURIA tomorrow, where the winner will advance to the Group Stage of IEM Katowice.
