Whilst many still regard him as one of the biggest talents within the professional CS:GO scene, Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis is more than just a talented youngster now, he is a superstar. Since joining Team Liquid the explosive yet calculated rifler has proven his weight worth in gold. The Latvian superstar would almost always put up impressive performances, despite the remainder of the Team Liquid roster sometimes falling behind. 

The consistency and prowess of "YEKINDAR", however, seems to have taken a hit after the latest addition to the Team Liquid roster. Since parting ways with the iconic name of Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski and adding the somewhat unknown Aleks "Rainwalker" Petrov, it seems as if "YEKINDAR" has struggled.

Since joining last month Team Liquid has played four matches at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups event with "Rainwalker" as a part of the roster. In three out of the four Bo3-series, "YEKINDAR" has been the worst performing player within the Liquid roster, and a considerate margin as well. In their final Bo3-series of the event, Liquid faced the new-look Astralis roster and had to see themselves beaten after a performance from their Latvian talisman. 

The poor performance at BLAST Premier Fall Groups and the final defeat against Astralis sees Team Liquid knocked down into the BLAST Premier Showdown, instead of the Finals.

Team Liquid has announced the fifth member of the team. 22-year-old Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov joins the team, where he replaces Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella.

Team Liquid did not reveal whether Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski is set to continue on the team, or if he will also make a move like rumors has suggested lately.

Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov has played in teams such as FATE, SKADE, and 500 before his move to Team Liquid.

Skade has announced that they will be parting ways with the Bulgarian roster after the two sides could not agree on a contract extension. 

The well-known Bulgarian team played under the SKADE banner since 2019. The teams featured players as Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov, Denislav "dennyslaw" Dimitrov, Georgi "⁠SHiPZ⁠" Grigorov, Kamen "⁠bubble⁠" Kostadinov, and Simeon "⁠dream3r⁠" Ganev. Doing the time in SKADE the Bulgarian squad peaked at the number 17th in the world ranking. They managed to do this back on April 4, as they won Elisa Invitational Winter 2021 and Pinnacle Cup three beating top teams such as Vitality and the old Copenhagen Flames. 

Since the start of SKADE back in 2019 the organization has achieved three lan top 3 placings as well as changed the lineup six times doing their time with a Bulgarian roster. 

Where the Bulgarian roster will be playing in the future is yet to be decided, but for now, they are all free agents.

The Swedish Ninjas remain undefeated at the ongoing IEM Fall EU. NIP managed to make a comeback and grab the win in their Bo1, even though they were down 10-1. The underdogs from SKADE couldn’t maintain the dominance on the CT side, which resulted in the comeback for NIP. The Ninjas are guaranteed a top-three spot in the group, which means that at the very least they will play for points in the 9th-11th.

SKADE looked to closed the series dominantly after they started Overpass with a 10-1 lead on the back of Rainwaker relentless rifle plays, locking down the first half 11-4. In the second half, SKADE kept their momentum winning the pistol. Down 4-11, device and company put up a wall on the CT side once they got weapons in hand. Strong defenses on both A and B, meant that NIP managed to turn things around and secure the win in the end, 16-14.
