The Norwegian Organization 00NATION announced its new roster for the rest of the 2022 season last night on Twitter.

Eduardo "⁠dumau⁠" Wolkmer, Bruno "⁠latto⁠" Rebelatto, and Epitacio "⁠TACO⁠" de Melo are the new fresh faces on the roster, who looks to turn a disaster 2022 around with an almost complete overhaul of their old team. Only Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David and Santino "⁠try⁠" Rigal are remaining with the latter also being rumored away during the process.

The deal sees TACO and coldzera reunited after four years apart from each other. The two players were part of the SK Gaming and Luminosity rosters that won two Majors back in 2016.

With the acquisition of the core of the GODSENT roster, 00NATION has taken over their spot at ESL Challenger Valencia that starts today and also their IEM Cologne Play-in spot, where the team will face Astralis on Tuesday.

00NATION is interested in signing the GODSENT roster and their coaching staff, according to a report by [link:{"url":"https://www.dust2.com.br/noticias/29093/00nation-mira-quarteto-e-comissao-da-godsent","isNewTab":true,"text":"dust2.br"}]. The reported move would not only result in TACO reuniting with coldzera but also dumau, latto, and b4rtiN, alongside coaches chucky and AlaNDieg0R. The changes would result in vsm, ⁠try⁠, and malbsMd being moved to the bench, making the active roster full of Brazilians.

The drastic changes were supposed to happen due to 00NATION's disappointment in missing PGL Major Antwerp. The first change came in May as the team benched ⁠leo_drk⁠. According to Dust2.br, 00NATION has not made an official bid for the players yet. At the same time, the future of HEN1, which currently plays for GODSENT, has not yet been decided.

Henrique “HEN1” Teles was once one of FURIA’s most powerful weapons, but today the Brazilian AWPer were set to square up against his former teammates at BLAST Premier Spring Showdown. 

The Bo3 began on GODSENT’s pick of Overpass,  where FURIA found themselves the first five rounds. GODSENT finally got themselves on the board in the sixth round but were immediately shut down by FURIA, and by staying aggressive and not allowing their opponents any space to work with “arT” and co. won the CT-side 12-3.

FURIA unsurprisingly kept up the pace, and in spite of heavy resistance from latto and HEN1, closed it out in swift fashion at 16-7.

On Andrei “arT” Piovezan and company’s map pick of Nuke, the FURIA supremacy continued with the Brazilian panthers presenting a solid T side. Their strong offensive gave them a favorable 9-6 lead going into the switch. In the end, the FURIA victory was inevitable as GODSENT not managed to step up their game, resulting in a clear 16-11 win. 

In tomorrow’s title-decider, FURIA will go up against the winner of the second semifinal between MIBR or paiN. A matchup, which is set to kick off at 22.00 (CET) today.

The second match of the day saw the Brazilians of GODSENT take on the Spanish squad of Movistar Riders. GODSENT had added "HEN1" less than 24 hours before the match, while the Movistar Riders had played together for about seven months.

To kick off the action Movistar Riders chose to play Nuke, and they had a very good T-side to start the game. The Spanish players seemed to be a step ahead of their Brazilian opponents during the first fifteen rounds of play, but GODSENT never gave up and managed to give themselves a chance in the game with six rounds at halftime.

Despite the semi-close scoreline at the break, the game ended anything but that. Movistar Riders absolutely crushed the Brazilians in the second half of play and took the victory at 16-6.

The fighting continued on Ancient where the Spanish squad got off to a great start on their CT-side. They quickly went up 8-3, and “dav1g” had a great time with several multi-kill rounds. The half ended on a good note for the side of GODSENT, as they took three of the last four rounds before halftime.

GODSENT capitalized on their momentum from the end of the first half, as they won nine rounds in a row to start the second half. It wasn’t without any challenges though, as the Spaniards got bomb plants in six of those rounds. GODSENT won their map pick at 16-11.

To end the series the teams had to battle it out on the most played map in CS:GO: Mirage. Just like the previous two maps it was the Movistar Riders that were in the best position after 15 rounds. “alex” and “dav1g” went off the rails on the CT-side, and effectively shut down the offense of GODSENT, resulting in a 10-5 half.

The Spanish roster kept up the pace after switching sides, and they soon found themselves with seven map- and match points. The Movistar Riders squandered their first four chances to end it, but the fifth time was the charm, and they took Mirage 16-12.

GODSENT got off to a slow start as Sprout took the early lead 3-0. TACO’s men tried to come back in the running, but Sprout was too strong and extended their lead and closed the half 10-5. GODSENT put up a masterclass T side of their own after halftime, stringing several rounds together to take the lead. Sprout made a final effort to put up a defense, but GODSENT close out the first map 16-12.

The next map of the series was to be played on Inferno, picked by GODSENT. TACO and company leading the way in a 6-1 start. Sprout was never able to stabilize their defense, and GODSENT took the lead 10-5. Sprout only got four rounds on the CT side before the proceedings were brought to an end, as GODSENT closed the map 16-9 and the series 2-0.

According to Jarek “Dekay” Lewis and DBLTAP.com, the former MIBR coach Ricardo “dead” Sinigaglia and inactive player Epitacio “TACO” de Melo in the works of creating a new Brazilian CS:GO team. The players joining the roster is besides TACO former MIBR player Joao “felps” Vasconcellos and the two youngsters “Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer and Bruno “latto” Rebelatto.

dead is currently banned due to his activity in the “Coaching bug scandal” and will therefore stand as team manager. It’s unclear whether the Brazilian coach changes into a coaching role when his 6.5-month ban is endured.
