Several new lineups got their first taste of CS2 action at the open qualifiers tournament for the PGL Copenhagen Major. 

Among them was Heroic, where Guy "NertZ" Iluz, Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi, and Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski made a good first impression as the trio debuted with four straight victories. The round of 128 win against Sprout was especially impressive with Heroic only dropping two rounds during the match.

Another new lineup we saw the first glimpse of was PARIVISION. An early defeat at the hands of the unknown lineup of Galaxy Gaming saw Robert "Patsi" Isyanov and Artem "ArtFr0st" Kharitonov eliminated in the round of 258. A disappointing first showing from the CIS team, that on paper looks like a potential Major participant.

The online qualifier should continue today at 16.00 (CET). There are four spots for the closed qualifier available in each of the four online qualifiers. Apeks have announced Damjan "⁠kyxsan⁠" Stoilkovski as the newest addition to the team for the upcoming season. The new Apeks IGL played under the North Markadioan banner BLUEJAYS before joining the mixed European team. The 22-year-old IGL took BLUEJAYS to their first tournament win at IESF World Championships 2022. 

The young IGL has produced some impressive stats during his time at BLUEJAYS. 1.03 Rating / 0.66 KPR / 70.5% KAST / 76.6 ADR.

Bluejays took on Permitta doing an ESL Challenger League season 43. A Bo3 game in the upper bracket. Bluejays came off to a great start to the match as they took down Permitta on their map pick Ancient. Coming up on the second map was Mirage, the map pick of Bluejays. Winning the pistol on the T side got Bluejays up 1-0. Despite winning the pistol round, Bluejays got in some serious trouble as Permitta took down four players of Bluejays without losing one.

A 1vs5 clutch was left open for Damjan 'kyxsan' Stoilkovski, a lost round wound covert into two or three CT rounds as the T´s economy would have been broken.

The 22-year-old rifler ended the Bo3 with an insane stat line - 49-27 K-D / +22 +/- / 113.3 ADR / 1.57 Rating.

When the current BLUEJAYS roster's contracts run out at the end of August, the players will be leaving the team. According to a [link:{"url":"https://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1ss3ifq","isNewTab":true,"text":"statement"}] from Jane 'aidKiT' Apostoloski, the players and the organization mutually agreed to the breakup. He furthermore states that he and the rest of the North-Macedonian squad are looking for a new banner.
