With a Major Grand Final coming up, the young players of GamerLegion have already reached a milestone that many others can just dream about. The fairytale run at the Major in Paris has undoubtedly made several teams interested in the service of the Grand Finalist of the last CS:GO Major in history.

One of them could be Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand, who has played an excellent tournament so far. Speaking to Dust2.dk about the future of GamerLegion, the Dane hinted towards a time to come, when the likes of 23-year-old Ivan "iM" Mihai and 20-year-old Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek could be hard to keep on the team.

- I would probably count on many of the players on the team getting offers from other teams. Of course, I can't speak for myself, I'm probably getting a little older compared to what many people think. It's hard to say, but I believe that there will be team offers left and right for the young guys on the team.

One of the issues for GamerLegion, in order to be able to keep their new superstars on the roster, will undoubtedly be the salaries.

- You can't really do anything about it. If a tier-1 team comes knocking on a guy who gets 20.000 DKK ($2900) a month and he gets an offer of 150.000 DKK ($21.700). There is no one who can say no to that. You get to play all the high and good tournaments and be in the tier-1 tournaments all the time, Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand says.

GamerLegion faces Team Vitality tomorrow in the Grand Final of the BLAST.tv Paris Major.

GamerLegion and Cloud9 faced each other on Overpass in the Major Challenger Stage playoffs. 

Leading 5-2 on the CT side, Keoz and Isak took the fight to Cloud9 as they pushed the smoke in monster. Despite losing his teammate, Keoz made a big play on the fade as he took down 4 players of Cloud9.

After being released from his contract with Team Vitality at the start of the year, 22-year-old Jayson "Kyojin" Nguyen Van has found himself a new home. 

The rifler will represent Team Falcons with his teammates from the orgless team Akimbo. The team showed great potential at the ESL Challenger League, and has now officially joined the Saudi-based Organization. The team consists of three former LDLC players, Bryan "⁠Maka⁠" Canda, Nicolas "⁠Keoz⁠" Dgus, Ali "⁠hAdji⁠" Haïnouss.

Jordan "⁠Python⁠" Munck-Foehrle is the fifth man on the roster that is currently ranked #54 in the world.

After Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro and Aurélien "afroo" Drapier didn't renew their contract with the organization the roster was depleted to only consisting of three members. Today, however, LDLC has announced their newest signings in Bryan "Maka" Canda and Nicolas "Keoz" Dgus on their Twitter-page. 

The French AWP'er in "Maka" had a great 2020, where he showed his skillset and proved himself to be one of the bearing engines in the Heretics roster. Heretics' greatest accomplishment in 2020 was when they managed to take a sixth-place finish at ESL One: Road to Rio Europe. "Maka" finished the tournament with an impressive 1.20 rating. 

Whilst the 20-year-old "Keoz" from Belgium is still an unfamiliar name for many, he has proven himself to be a competent player spending most of his time in the CIS-region. This won't be the first time he is representing LDLC as he played for them in 2019 as a stand-in. 

The newly shaped roster will have their chance to showcase their work and capabilities when participating in ESL's European Championship Winter, which starts on January 18.
